Ali Özdemir graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering in 2007.
He began his maritime career with İnce Denizcilik ve Tic AS in September 2007, where he has been working as a 3rd Officer. After completing his service period as officer, he received his Captain's license and worked as an Oceangoing Captain on ships belonging to İnce Denizcilik ve Tic AS from 2014 to 2016. From November 2016 to April 2024, he worked as an Deputy DPA and Marine Superintendent at İnce Denizcilik ve Tic AS.
From May 2024 till now, he is working at Bulktech Ship Management as a Fleet Manager and shares his extensive knowledge of ship management, the ISM Code and maritime operations.
